i have done a lot of research on how i want 2 build my car(72 nova) and a buddy told me this is a good place to get some help on tpi. i have a 383w/ flatt top pistons and a pretty hot cam,roller rockers and sportsman 2 heads'i know i wanna run a speed density kit caus it just looks better w/ the filter on the intake. now for my ?'s ,do you have to run an egr on this and how hard is it to tune. i would liketo be able to get a laptop and try to tune it my self what do i need to do all this? and will an old school hei distubuter work?

 

You don't have to run egr. You should run the newer style HEI distributor to work with the computer.
