90-92 TPI Wiring on a 87 L98
90-92 TPI Wiring on a 87 L98
I'm going to buy a Painless Wiring harness for my L98. I'd like to get rid of my MAF because making an air intake will be much, much easier without it. I've also had trouble with my MAF (the sensor is okay).
I know the 90-92 wiring doesn't have a 9th injector. Does someone make a kit to plug the hole in the runner and in the fuel rail?
And before I go too far with this, will the mods I have below work with a stock PROM (speed density ECM) or do I need a reprogrammed one?

Street & Performance made the kit that I used, but Accell also makes a plug kit. It will run you about $20-30.
You should be OK with your stock PROM. You may have to do some fine tuning w/ the AFPR, but I think you will be OK. Its not like you have a large lumpy came or something.
