Anyone have a siamesed intake?

Is anyone using a stock intake that has been siamesed? I was wondering if there is any advantages and disadvantages of this Intake. I would like to do it myself if worth the effort. .

I put a SLP siamesed runner on my car last year an noticed a loss in low end torque. That's with a 5.7 if I were you I'd leave the stock runners, after all they were designed to work with the 5.0. Once I finish the rest of my mods then the runners will come into play.

Hope this helps

I'm running full siamesed slp's and halfway siam'ed stock intake with a full port plenum for a 58mm throttle body, zz4 cam and 1 3/4 headers and havn't lost any bottom end at all and prolly gained some. I shift @ about 6,000 1-2 and 5,800 2-3

I was told that if you do the intake you would disturb the air/fuel distribution in the cylinders and would cause you to go lean. Can this be cured by a adj. regulator or bigger injectors. I saw your intake MADMAX and it looks AWSOME bet you put a lot of hours into it.
