checking fuel injectors
I want to make sure all of my fuel injectors are firing properly. I would like to send them off and have them cleaned and flow matched but i cant afford to have my car off the road for about a week. Does anyone know a way to check to see if they are working properly. thanks

The only thing you can check with the injectors in the car, is if they are flowing fuel at the same rate.
You'll need a fuel pressure gauge and an injector testor/cycler. ONly problem is that you won't be able to tell if the spray pattern is good or not.
May want top try rich at Cruzin Performance, he has great turn around time, and you may be ableto work a deal with him to minimize downtime.

A reliable mechanic "friend" of mine recently told me to use a mechanic's stethescope. You can get one for $10 at AutoZone. Listen to each injector. It should make a nice, crisp, ting-ting-ting sound like metal to metal. Dirty or fouled ones won't make as crisp a sound. Non- functional ones are quiet
This test won't check flow balance, of course. Chances are, if they are clean and working, the flow is reasonably well balanced.
