How much Hp TOTTAL will this list of item give my firebird
I am thinking about getting the following;
58mm BBK Throttle bodie
Shortie Headers
K&N Intake kit
Flowmaster
I am wondering how much Bhp this will give my car TOTTAL it is a 1987 Pontiac firebird T.p.I 305

not much.
dont get a 58mm tb, stock 48 is MORE than enough for a 305.
is that flowmaster a full catback?
get a full 3inch catback and the shorty headers with a y pipe. with proper running car, i can see 15-20whp gains on a 305.
On my L98 i think i saw about a 20-25ish whp gain from catback/shorties/air intake. it was noticeable gain tho. hard to say tho as i never got a good run on the dyno when i had TPI. from what i ran at the track and what i did with the HSR intake i estimate stock hp to be around 215whp, and my TPI setup probly made near 235whp. HSR with no other changes made 246whp and with lean tune and 1.6 rockers/underdrive pullies made 254.

What K&N intake kit? I didn't know they made one.
If your talking about just the filter dont waste your $$
I spent my $$ on the SLP kit....IMO, thats the only way to go for Pontiac.
(unless you make a kit youself)
The stock air assembly is a real bottle neck.
