Code 32 - EGR problem - Help!

Recently my car started acting weird! It would run fine going down the road but it started idling lower than normal, around 400 RPMs as opposed to the typical 650 RPMs (this is in gear)!! I ran the codes and got a code 32 which is an EGR problem! I've known I had this problem for a long time now but I would only get the SES code rarely.... like it's an intermittent problem! I know the problem is either with the EGR valve itself or the EGR solenoid!! The weird thing is, I just increased my throttle screw to correct the idle problem and now the car idles just fine and I don't get the SES 32 code!! It's really confusing me.... should I replace the EGR and solenoid or leave it?? That's my dilema!!

do you have a book or somthing that is confusing you with the code. cause i've got a tech manual that trouble shoots the code and give you processes to run through but it's long and drawn out ..... is that the only code it's giving off? i'll give you the short and sweet on what the book says:

1.-ignition off, clear codes.
-coolant temp below 82 degrees F.
-start engine and run for 15 seconds or until "service engine soon" light comes on.
-ignition on engine stopped
-ground dyno terminal and note code

........you said you sure it's 32 right....
........hope so............................

-code 32

2 -ignition off, clear codes
- disconnect egr temperature switch connector
-repeat test

IF the code remains- wire to switch shorted to ground or faulty switch.

IF the code is gone- check ckt 935 for short to ground. if not shorted, it is a faulty ecm.

hope this help if you need any more help e-mail me.
