86 upper TPI unit, and 87'newer wiring harness???

I have a 86' lower mani. and 87 upper I am wondering if there is a diffrence between the wiring harness. I know there is in the TPI unit and the ecm but what about the wiring?? HELP ME!!!

No, there should be no real differences. Both years used the cold start injector and all the same sensors. The only significant difference is that the '87 had a separate ignition coil and the '86 had the integral coil (in the distributor cap).

EGR solenoid, IAC, TPS, injector harness, CTS, MAT, temp. gauge sender, alternator field, etc, should all be plug-compatible.
