i just got my 305 tpi back in my 1991 camaro convertible ..

almost ready to start it after a complete (re) build .. but i cant figure out where the ground wire (negative / black) bolts to ... the big end of the wire that comes off the battery ..

does it bolt to the block .. if so where .. ???

ive looked for a while and only thing i can see is the back of the a/c and smog pump bracket ..



also theres a hole in the block left of the oil pressere sensor .. just above a freeze plug .. do i need to plug this hole .. does coolant or oil pass by it? ..

bolts to the bracket on front of engine under smog pump. basicly anywhere on engine it can get a ground,later jimmy

 

yea .. i think i remeber seing a short bolt that i left in the old heads .. im sure thats it .. and i think that bolt goes in the whole i found that is under the smog pump like you said ..
