Cam choice 91 T/A
Like the title says, I see other people asking this question, but nothing really pertains to me. I have a 91 T/A L98 Hydraulic roller, 3.23 rearend and obviously a 700r4, trans, BBK throttle body, hooker shorty headers, 3 inch flowmaster cat back, Probably going with patriot heads. My question is what is the most cam I can get without burning a prom. I know ALOT of people are going to say I have to burn a prom but, I have seen alot of people do it without burning one.

Re: Cam choice 91 T/A
since youre running MAP most that you MIGHT be able to get by with is an LT1 cam. MAF is a lot more forgiving unlike MAP
Re: Cam choice 91 T/A
Scott can tune ANY cam for you as long as you send the data for prom adjustment. I think his price is what it should be for mail order tuning. He also is well versed with SD.

There's a couple different ways we can provide programming for you. You can send us your memcal for re-programming as long as it came from a TPI car for $55 including shipping. Please send us the alpha code read from the chip if you'd like us to confirm. IE; AUJP, or ARAP. We also sell adapters that you piggyback onto the memcal that you provide for $90 including shipping. We prefer people who are running larger cams to buy the adapter. This way we can just send another chip after you send us data recordings using Datamaster. This is the only way to get the programming perfect with larger cams.
