Rebuilding a 350 TPI
Rebuilding a 350 TPI
Okay here's my situation. I am going to purchase another IROC-Z in the near future but instead of buying a car that is "done" as I have already done once, I'd like to buy a 350 car with a good body and tranny, and a not so healthy motor. A "project" car you could say.
I don't know a lot about mechanics so bare with me
My question is this...
I have about $5K-$7K CDN to spend on a rebuild. What can I get and what would any of you recommend in the way of parts.
Note: I've been reading about the ZZ4 but have decided I'd rather put something together myself and haopfully make more power.
Might have found a car. Going to look tonight. I've seen it on the side of some dudes driveway in about a foot of grass. It appears to be a yellow '87... body looks good too, dunno if it's a 350 yet or if he'll sell. Gonna go and make him an offer anyway, what the hell.

Buy the car, drop the motor, find a fat motor, and give it the nitro special. And go race the Dodge Viper that's what I would do

HELL YEAH!...
There's a place in Toronto call Straight Line Performance. They have built engines for my father's friends in the past.
I'll start there. A small block 350 with approx 400Bhp would be sweet... no nitrous though
