1991 Pontiac tpi 350

Hello i bought this car a year ago not running got running and found that after i run the cra for a while and press on the accelerator very little it starts to smoke black and run super rough like it is runnig rich i thought it is a IAC motor just wondered if anyone else had simalar troubles any advice thanks

Sounds more like a sticking egr valve, or, solenoid.

Check for vacume leaks, could be the MAP sensor thinks your flooring it.
Also check out your TPS, I have never messed with a sd car but I guess its possible that if the ecm is seeing a high voltage from the TPS it could also thing your on the gas and start dumping fuel.

Again, I have never messed with a SD TPI so I could be wrong.
