I was thinking about going to a LT4 hotcam will this give me a noticeable power increase or am I wasting cash. Oh by the way it's a stock L98

 

I think you will need head work for that cam and a tune.. but i will make good power. i might go with that cam. i just bought a l98 motor

 

I had my heads ported when I went with the LT4 Hotcam. Never got around to tuning it but you have too. Sold the car shortly after the motor was done.

 

You need a lot more mods done to your stock L98 before you think about a cam swap.

I used that cam for 5 years (along with heads, exhaust, and intake upgrades) and ran the ET and power in my sig. It requires a custom chip tune. It will not work with the stock chip nor any off-the-shelf chips like Hypetech or Jet.
