Dart 215's.....
Would a set of Dart Iron Eagles with 215 cc runners be to much for a mildy built 350TPI? I've got a chance to get a set at a really good price. But if they won't work, I don't want to waste the money.

YES. That is a big port for TPI. To run a head of that size you will need the 210cc version of the Miniram. And then it really needs a big cam as Dart 215s/Miniram combo is designed more for high rpms strip action than street. If you plan on going racing, that could be a killer combo with the right cam.
You will sacrifice more low-end torque than with a combo of Miniram AFR195s.
If you have emission concerns I believe the heads are not smog legal, but then neither is the Miniram if you are required to use an EGR.
If you are looking for an iron head instead of aluminum head, scope out Pro-Action Lightning heads. I am currently looking at Fe alternatives to Al.
