Fuel Injectors

Hey guys, can someone help me out here and tell me if these fuel injectors from Summit will fit my '88 IROC-Z 305 TPI? They are Ford 19lb injectors. Thanks.

Re: Fuel Injectors

But if you plan on doing any motor work like a cam, intake, maybe jump up to 22# or 24#.

Re: Fuel Injectors

Yes, they will fit, make sure to use the clips that locate the top of the injector into the fuel rail. Also, these are the EV1 stlye injectors, so they will have the correct connector for you.

While you are at this, I would install an AFPR and a good fuel pressure gauge for tuning purposes. Measure the fuel pressure now before you take anything off the engine, this fuel pressure will be a good starting point for you after you install your new fuel injectors.

Re: Fuel Injectors

I just put an AFPR in about 2 months ago. I just wanted to make sure these fit the car. I'm not really going to get into any motor work with this engine. I'm only 17 and don't have money for that kind of stuff. Someone told me that my injectors could be the cause of my car having a poor/erratic idle. I've replaced and adjusted the TPS and IAC and MAF. But thank you for all the responses.
