ok here is the deal 88 iroc tpi l98 and g90 diff. going to go speed density i have the computer and harness my car 91 rs t5 transmission. what i really want is a fun car no prom tuning i just don't have the time or cash to get into it and don't trust anyone local to let them ruin my car. so what is a good cam??

if youre going speed density youll be limited id say an LT1 cam if anything. MAF is the forgiving one to mild cam swaps.

 

agreed, SD wont like too much cam. I think a small cam like a zz4 or comp 501 could work.. It may run somewhat ok for alittle while but you will really benefit from a tune. Need to run a 350 prom. it will run on the auto prom but you should look into tuning to make it a stickshift setup and get the fuel/timing right. Prom burning stuff and chips can be had for under 250 bucks..same price as a cam.

i know a MAF could get by on fuel pressure and timing advance for most mild cams. Any reason for the SD over MAF if your not gonna tune it?

 

not sure what modications would be required to run my speedometer and vats my 88 harness is cable drive speedometer and non vats so i thought a speed density 91 harness will be a plug and play situation
