Don't know the torque specs on the plenum bolts, but don't overdo it, since the plenum is aluminium!
You will definitively notice more torque from installing an AFPR, I did notice it after installing one in my IROC...

Installing one is really easy to do. I did mine in about a hour or so. You will need to remove the plenum and everything attached to it. You can leave the TB attached that is no big deal. You will have to disconnect the cables attached to it though. The MAT will need to be disconnected along with a few vaccum hoses as well. You will need a T10 with a hole punched in the middle of it for the FPR bolts. You will not see them with the naked eye from a distance but they are there. You will also need to relieve the fuel pressure from the schrader valve. That is all I can really remember off hand maybe if I didi someone will help out. Good luck.

Agreed..... start out at about 45 and give it some plus and minus.
Here are some <A HREF="http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox/tips/specs/torque.htm">Torque Specs</A> for you.

Chilton manual doesn't list torque for plenum bolts. Hanynes manual only says "tighten securely".
I also loosened lower bolts on the runners to help free them from the plenum. (gaskets were really stuck.) Don't hammer on or pry against the runners. They dent very easily. I dented one slightly, pushed it out from the inside, and brushed the finish with one of those green scouring pads. Looks perfect again.

Just use a rubber mallet and something inbetween to soften the blow.
