Has anyone ever ran a tpi setup without an egr valve. Because the heads i have don't have a heat crossover tube for the egr to read from. If so what else do i have to do make it run right so i can put my new motor in.

 

That is a good question. It would seem to me an EGR block-off plate could be bought (or fabricated maybe?) and if not, just leave the original one on and leave it unhooked (my plan for my application). I am having a custom chip burned so the EGR trouble codes won't be a problem. Does anyone here know if I am leaving anything else out? Can you really just leave it on and not hook it up or will this cause problems with something else? Sorry I am not helping more, but most of the guys in here are pretty sharp. I know they can help you. This is just my $.02.
