Help! Runner wont come out

Ok, is there some trick. im changing runners and my stock one one the passenger side is stuck . it is hitting the fuell rail and ive messed with it for a couple of hours but it still wont come out. Is there soem easy way to do this??? need help cause my tranny just got back from rebuild yesterday and im ready to drive. thanks

If I remember correctly, there's 10 bolts per runner set, or something like that. The more hidden ones are gotten to from the other side of the lower intake manifold and then there's the bolts that are right underneath the fuel rail that you can't really get to that well without taking the valve cover's off. Other than that I dunno.

there are bolts that you must loosenn from thhe oppositte sides one by the fuel rergulator the othher on the opposite side then you will haave tto lift tthe fuel rails slightly loosen the 4 10mm bolts securing the rails liftt them out slightly to pull the runner loose

you half to rotate the top of the runner toward the other side of the car and then remove it. You can't just pull it straight out. Plus I hope you removed all the bolts to it including the one on the right side of the runner that is accessed from the other side of the runner.

I just removed the valve cover, I guess it would have been a little easier to lift the fuel rail

I always just loosen the fuel rail bolts a bit and rotate it as mentioned. But if I had spotless like-new runners and plenum, I'd always take an extra 20 minutes and disassemble the fuel rail with a small torx bit, remove it piece by piece, and then take the runners out. You could maybe do it without scratches the normal way, but I don't have the temper for that
