Oil Cooler

I was reading the FAQ here at thirdgen.com, and it was saying that all L98's got an oil cooler, now is this a seperate oil cooler, or one that is like built in to the radiator, cause i have never seen an oil cooler on my car.

Engine: modified L98

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9-bolt

The oil cooler is a piece that is between your oil filter and the engine block which coolant is routed through. If you follow all of your coolant lines you'll fine some that lead back there.

scott 88 GTA is correct it should be your heater hose that comes off the raditor.It will come off the rad.
FWIW.If you ever get a motor out of a truck that has an oil cooler do not hook up the line as they were.The trucks have the oil cooler like you where thinking.I know I just did this and ended up pumping oil right in to my raditator.

the trucks pumped the oil up to a seperate cooler.
