fuel filter and IAC questions.. please answer.
i already did all the other tune up stuff and i figure i should replace the IAC valve and the fuel filter too. how hard is it to replace these two things?who makes a good high performance fuel filter? how much should i expect to pay?the IAC i am just going to get a replacement one. it is idling kinda weird right now and i think this stuff should help.

You will have to pay around 50 to 70 dollars. The IAC will cost you the most and the fuel filter is really cheep.
Yep the fuel filter is just a few bucks but the IAC is pricy. I think I saw it on TPIS' site for like $115. Does the IAc really need to be replaced? try calibrating it and then go out and get a new one if that doesn't work.
see, i dont really know. in the morning when i start it up it will rev up to 1,000 rpms and then drop down like it is going to die and then revs back up. it wont die but it will run kinda rough. i think it is either the fuel filter,IAC,or the TPS. i dont really know what it is.
does sounds like a iac problem,
like that one guy said, try resetting the IAC motor...and make sure the air passages aren't clogged from where the pintle of the iac motor rests...
make sure the throttle body is cleaned on the back of the butterflies and the front..
if that doesn't help, then go to a new IAC and see what happens,
i know i replaced mine, and it helped, i bought a misc. type IAC not like a delco type, it was around 50 bucks or so...
if that doesn't work then try a fuel volumn and pressure test.
