i have a 89 iroc z i had the engine rebuilt:.....it has a iski cam 257 hyd intake and 265 hyd exaust...is that ok? or is it to small? the engine was bored .30 and the heads were done with a 3'angle race...and minor bowl blended...has kieth black hypr pistons .....i have the 52 mm throttle body edelbrock headers(emisions legal) cat back from edelbrock.homemade ram air , screens cut ,k&n's,i have a external accel ignition coil,sub frames, tourque arm, control arms, 2:77 gears yuck, 160 thermostat, hyperteck street performer chip, fuel pressure regulator..set at 50 psi. now besides the gears is there anything wrong with this set up? should i go more on the cam? and how much? i just bought new mickey thompsons et streets....are those good? my car doesnt hook up with what i got now(michalin xgtz4 245 50 16.... the mickeys i orderd are 255 50 16's will those help?also im getting 3:45's for gears.

everything sounds good to me. Just experiment with your combo and if I were you I would lower your fuel preasure a tad (42-45psi) but just play with it and see what you like best.

POrt match your upper intake with all the parts you can. You are hitting the flow limits of the stock runners and base. If I were you I would buy a set os SLP runners port match everything to them and either port your intake or get an eldelbrock piece. Everything else seems good, but a custom prom or one from Fastchip would really help to. Your fuel pressure seems to high though, are you running rich?

86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!
