With my mods in the sig below, and some AFR190's in the future. What would be my best bet for an intake? Also what cam would work well with each intake? LT4 HOT cam?

on a 350 go with thhe superram and install the lt4 hot cam 1.5 degrees retarded this will make the cam kick in sooner justt like the ttpi cam annd will run out of steam aroud 6000 right where your superram does.

Try doing a search on this topic. There is no end to this argument. I wish someone would make a superminiram then we wouldn't have to argue all the time.

 

Well, you really can't go wrong with either intake. But if you are going to use either, you want to use AFR 195s, they'll flow better up high where those intakes really come to life. You made a great choice with the LT4 HOT Cam, its designed for short runner intakes, like what you plan to get! I would advise aganist not installing it advanced or retarded, just straight up will be perfect!

Thanks for the info. I did the research in the archives. I think the knockout punch was Traxion's rant on how the miniram is the best hands down. He's got me sold on it if I could find it for a descent price. So if anyone would like to defend the superam nows the time. Also, do you know who sells the LT4 cam the cheapest? Is it a GM only item?

 

I'm don't know much about this LT4 cam but here's the part # for the cam I'm running with my miniramm.Which is also the one Traxion reccommended to use with the MiniRam it's a Comp X-treme Energy 08-503-8.It is $240 out of Summit.Just thought I'd throw it at ya since you were sold on Traxion's rant.Something to think about.

The LT4 cam is 218/228 I believe and .525/.525 lift. What are the specs on that X-treme energy cam?
