Home made cold air intake setup?

Hey i heard someone went to a muffler shop and had alluminum piping bent into there own cold air set up. I was going to do the same. The guy just wants me to get the hardware, such as the rubber hosing to connect the piping. Does anyone know where i can get rubber hosing that will cover a 52mm throttle body and easily connect to a 3inch pipe? Like that stuff that comes with supercharger kits. I though of cutting the stock set-up maybe 6 inches off the throttle body but i'm not sure if that will be good enough, This is for a Trans Am, any info will help greatly!

Go to home depot and look in the plumbing section, they have rubber couplers with clamps in various diameters. Thats what i used.
You can find anything at home depot!
