Upgrades to a 305
Ok every one I want to know what I cant do to my 305TPI to make it stronger and have a little more faster. Rebuilding the engine is not the kind of upgrade I'm taking about.
Or maybe you guys could recomend a few things I could do if I ever do a rebuild.
Thanks in advanced

Re: Upgrades to a 305
The best thing to do with your 305 is upgrade the exhaust to headers and a good cat back system,They tune it and maybe a cam at best. If you need a rebuild don't even bother with the 305.
It's the same money to build a 350 and you have a better performing engine with better MPG if you keep it mild.
That is what I'm doing right now, the 305 is in the car running fine and I have a 350 roller block that I'm building for the T/A.
I'm going to keep the 305 as a backup for any one of my Chevy powered vehicles. If a motor goes out, pop in the 305, continue to use the car/truck and repair the other engine.
