Hey guys,

I've perfectly adjusted my TPS and IAC, but when i start my car my idle RACES upwards to 2000 rpms, then slllllllllllowly over like 10 seconds lowers to about 600 rpms

this SUCKS, anybody know what to do here? thanks.

Oh yea, all vacum lines are in place, no codes.

have you checked the ohms on both tps and iac to make sure their still good. are you sure both tps and iac are for the correct size engine? people commonly think they can use 305 and 350 parts interchangeable their not.

 

@ what voltage have you set the TPS?

 

really guys Im sure the problem is fixed now 12 years later. and yes the tps and iac is the same for a tpi 305 and 350.
