Holley stealth ram question
I am currently looking to either get the stealth ram intake for the vortec heads or get the tpi base for the stock style tpi for vortecs. My question is will my stock tpi fuel rail work with the holley stealth ram? It doesnt really look like it will to me but according to summit racing there is no aftermarket fuel rail needed but they did suggest it. I was just wondering if anybody here has done this setup and can maybe give some very helpful info. Im thinking the stealth ram will be the best for the money mainly because of the extended rpm range over the tpi setup but i really love the TPI look. Any help is appriciated. thanks alot

no TPI fuel rails will not work with the stealth ram. You need to buy the fuel rail kit for the stealth ram, its roughly 160-250 more bucks, depending on the regulator option you get

I think though that even though you have to buy the fuel rail kit that the Stealth Ram would still be the better option....finacially permitting ofcourse.

considering that the Stealth Ram with rails and fuel lines can be had for 650 bucks or abit less, thats a great deal considering TPI base is 360-400 and runners are 350-400 and you still wont get the performance HSR will offer

I looked into that, and according to the site, it says stock Vortec rails work... not sure what that is supposed to mean. The L31 Vortec doesn't have fuel rails so.
I decided to go with the Ramjet intake for my car.

yeah not sure why it said stock vortec rails would work. You need the rails for the stealth ram...either the vortec stealth ram kit or non vortec if your not using vortec heads

that's the applications Summit lists the fuel rails as being for. Looks to be all just Vortec engines, unless they are for adapting the SCPI to port injection?

I discussed what i did here... more on the exact part numbers at the bottom of the page.
you can hook to your stock rubber lines but i chose to take off the rubber lines and run braided all the way for a cleaner look
