ok i have basically a stock 350 TPI. i need to reseal all the upperend gaskets and i thought why not do a cam swap when i have the upper end off. so anyways. i have all the gaskets.
but my question is..
WHAT CAM?
i saw the SLP cams in Summit.
but if anyone has a certain cam that they would suggest please do so.
and i am also siamesing the intake and part of the stock runners(until i get $200 or so more for the siamesed runners) so i know that will free up some air space.
i have borla exhaust, AFPR, ram air(when hooked up),ported plenum, pulleys, and i am getting a new coil wires and cap.

The first thing you got to consider is that with a speed density system and a cam change your going to need a custom chip. If your going to buy one then it will cost a minium of $350.00! Or if you plan to do your own programming just time.
Next with all the siamesing your planning on doing the LT4 Hot Cam sounds like a nice idea. But if you go that route then a new torque convertor say 2500 - 2800 stall would be recommended.
Cam suggestions are hard since everyone has their preferance. Alot depends on what you want from your car daily driver? Weekend warrior? Street/Strip? Or just Track?
I think the LT4 Hot Cam can be used for daily driver and still be good at the track and with your gears good for the street too.
But that is me.
I'm sure some other guys will have some other good suggestion too.
