Wild O2/ Overheat Lean
I have a MAF 350 Tpi(L89) LT4 HOT CAM , SLP 1 5/8 RUNNERS ,AFPR , DART S/R TORKER HEADS.
THE CAR IS RUNNING SO LEAN THAT IT METS SPARK PLUG BOOTS, SPEEDO CABLE..... THE FUEL PRESS IS 48 (VAC DISC.) BASE TIMING 1 DEGREE. 36 TOTAL ADV. THE TPS IS SET TO .50 IDLE AT 650... iT SURGES. THE O2 GOES FROM .001 TO 1.0 GOING DOWN THE ROAD I THOUGHT IT COULD BE FUEL OR HENCE LACK OF BUT NEW FP. I AM WAY DOWN ON HP .. I HOOKED A SCANNER UP IT SHOWED A 42 EST AND NO VSS. iT MELTED THE CABLE. WHAT ARE SOME POSSIBLE CAUSES MY LEAN CONDITION . ?

I'd find it hard to believe you're running lean with your setup.
I'd wonder if the melted boots are caused by the headers?
Although your O2 seems real low and real high, what are your crosscounts? What does the BLM value show?
My personal opinion is you have too much injector for your setup, even with a Hypertech chip. If you want to run the 30#er's you may think about heading to the PROM Board and get into tuning.
