What kind of horsepower could I expect to gain if I put a set of vortec heads and intake on a 350 tpi with all the usual bolt on's and free mods available. (ported plenum, afpr, pulleys, tb bypass, maf descreened, CAI, injectors, 1.5 rr's, msd coil, smog delete, high-flow cat, flowmaster, 3.73's, corvette servo, B+M shift kit, LCA's w/ lowering bracket)

I already did searches and havn't really found anything on this question.

I have vortec heads, base,afpr,ported plenum, large tube runners,cam (218/224 ),Headers, catback, shiftkit ,TC 2600 and 1.5 rr.

My car put down 278 RWHP 317 RWTQ. That was on a mustang dyno.

 

with your combo there, 278hp, on top of that what do you think the holley stealthram would do. 300 maybe 325 ya think.

 

The HSR might would push the power band up more. My peak HP was at 4800 RPM's. I'm guessing the HSR would make 300+ HP. My car was dynoed on a mustang dyno. The guy that tuned it said his dyno will dyno 15% less than a dynojet. Then again you really should'nt go by a dyno you should use track times.

Also when I had my car dyno tuned I had the wrong spark plugs in. I was suppose to have the long tapper seat plugs. It was like 2 months later that I stumbled across a thread on this sight about using the wrong plugs on vortec heads. I noticed alot better throttle response after I changed to right plugs.
