Almost done but two different injector types
Oh man I'm so close to getting done and turning the key and now I have just noticed that my ebay TPI package has two different injectors with different numbers...
Will these be ok to use? I'm guessing that 4 came off of a 305 and 4 came from a 350. I've googled the numbers and didn't find anything. May on the other hand they are both ok for a 350...
Please see the pic of the injectors and my setup for reference. Yes, my favorite color is chrome (powder coated)! MegaSquirted with a Palm tach.
Grey ring number: 0120 17090882
Silver ring number: 0141 17086545
Thanks for the help, Jim

Re: Almost done but two different injector types
I've just found a thread at:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...rates-per.html
That lists 4 of my injectors as: 17086545 .......... 89 350 TPI
This is great. Now about the other 4... (17090882- what were these used on?)

OK. A little more searching and the other 4 are also going to be fine. They are all 22# injectors.
Thanks, Jim

Hi there.
Yes, I feel kind of dumb having asked the question without searching the forum but I thought google would have spidered its answers for me but i guess not.
Thanks for the comments. Don't gag... It's an '87 Jeep YJ. An original 19000 mile LT1 1970 bottom end with my 2nd (driven with carb until 4 days ago) maybe successfully rebuilt th350 auto. The 1st was a Grand Cherokee auto without any diagrams to rebuild from parts and it's still running too so maybe I don't always suck! ;-)
Yes, despite the intake breathing in warmer than desirable air I just love the look with that K&N out there in front! It clears the fan blades by 1.5 inches. I'm also using v-belts and things may fit. I live in the booneys and I saw my first TPI setup in a picture 6 months ago and said "I've got to get me one of them!".
I hope the megasquirt works out. Here is a pic of the megasquirt finished and talking to my notebook with a testing board also attached that mimics a running engine.
Thanks again, Jim
