oil pressure

i got a 305 tpi in an 86 camaro

my oil pressure gets really low when it warms up and i stop(around the 10 line) and is really sluggish and sits a little under the 30 line. i changed out the oil pressure switch today and turned it on and the oil pressure was at around 40 and it was awsome and 30 minutes later it went back and was **** again. anyone know what the problem could be? thanks

Re: oil pressure

try a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see what the pressure is may just be a bad gauge ,theyre good for going bad ,later jimmy
