URGENT!! Where is the EST located?
Got an 87 350 GTA and need to check the timing before it gets dark here. Where is the EST I need to disconnect located?

Well I've got an 89 IROC but maybe they're in the same place...
Mine is on the passenger side at the rear of the engine compartment. It's a single brown wire and it has a connector right there so that you can easily disconnect it.

look right in front of your fan box (passenger side) that is connected to your firewall and the thick wire harness that comes out of your finder follow that for little more than a foot and there will be a 1 wire connector with a brown wire with a black strip on it and that is the EST wire and if you need more help i will send you a pic.
