holley afpr wont lineup to bolt pattern what i do!?

okay, when i went to install it the bolts would not go in. anyone else have a holley afpr and have the same problem? the old afpr bolt pattern is different from the holley. is this crazy or what? and plus i stripped one of the tiny *** bolts and cant find where to get one, think a hardware store has them?

My Holley AFPR went right on...try rotating the housing and rechecking the hole alignment, maybe the pattern isn't exactly symetric and the housing has to go on a certain position?

As for a replacement bolt, try your local Sears mini-hardware store. Mine has a huge bolt/screw dept with stuff all the way up to 3/4" Grade 8.

I have been on an extencive serch for these bolts and after 3 months I have finally given up the bolts are a special size and thread a 5-40 will fit but is too loose and a metric 3 or 4 are not right. the only place to get those bolts are gm. I just drilled and tapped mine for a 6-32 helicoil and got some stainless bolts.

I found them at a local store that specializes in fasteners. It's a 3.5 mm -.6 pitch I think. Plus they are normal phillips heads. How do you like them apples

I'm going and putting the stock one back on. I plan to just use a wrench to fasten that one bolt that is stripped until I can goto the junkyard. I really need my car for school and this was a WAY unexpected turn for the worst.
