porting edelbrock tpi runners
Hey all,
i have been working on opening my edelbrock runners and intake to give me a little more flow and to match the larger diameter gaskets (1.75 opening). the problem i am having is reaching the middle portion of the runners. there is a roughly 1.5 to 2 inch portion i cannot get to even with my dremel extension. i can only assume that is giving me a choke point, which is definitely not what i am aiming for. what are you guys doing to get in there? the dremel is slow to work on the inside, but i have been getting what i can with my die grinder, and reaching past that with the dremel. what am i doing wrong here?

yeah... that stuff is all about porting heads... i am trying to reach the inside of the runners with the tools they mention. am i just supposed to grind enough material out so that i can reach, or is there a trick i am missing with these long tube runners?
