Dying fuel pump?

What are symptons of a dying/dead fuel pump? simple enough?

Well it wont sound right when you turn your ignition on

(or it wont sound at all)

You'll cut out at high R's

maybe an irratic idle

u will floor it and it will back fire at intake and rpms wont raise at all.

Or you just may notice the fuel pressure is lower than normal.

One I had just died suddenly. The one I have now is doing the slow death....instead of the fuel pressure rising when accelerating...it goes down, causing a lean condition and increased BLM count.

Here's a question for you, can you have good PSI and poor GPM? When I give my car gas my gauge jumps all over the place.
