I'm having a weird problem

My car will idle perfect as soon as I start it. After it has run for a minute or two it starts to idle irregularly and continues to get worse until it dies. After it dies I can start it again and it will run perfectly but it will start the whole thing over after a minute or two. I have replaced the cap, rotor, I put and MSD blaster 2 external coil on it, replaced my 6AL and it still continues to do the same. All of my wires are good, I have fuel preasure and I am totally stumped! WTF?! Could this be my moduel or computer? Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks-Steve

Do you have access to a fuel pressure guage? It might be worth it to see what the pressure is doing when it stalls.

Most likely it is your MAF, try unpluging your maf and then start it. What I think is happening is you are in open loop when you start, then your engine get warm enough to where it switches over to closed loop and runs of the MAF. Try it and get back to me.

JucinGTA is on the right track, but wrong sensor. Once the car goes into closed loop it relies solely on the O2 sensor. I would suspect that your O2 sensor has gone bad. How many miles are on your car? The O2 is technically supposed to be replaced about every 60k miles. If you don't know when it was last replaced then I would go ahead and do it.

I agree to check the O2 sensor. I have the exact opposite problem - My car starts and then dies. I can feather the throttle to keep it running and when it goes into closed loop mode, it runs okay. I'm going to post more about it later

Most definetly 02 sensor. I installed a faulty air/fuel ratio guage which caused an interference with the signal to the ecm. The result was exactly your problem until the guage was removed and o2 sensor replaced. Easy fix cross fingers
