FIREWALL RELAYS

I just spent a half an hour searching for a decent wiring diagram / picture and locations of these relays. So much conflicting information, based on years, some people say they have fan relays on the firewall, some dont, some have oval connectors, some dont. Well, diagnosing a problem I've been having that i think has to do with the relays when I went to take the bottom of it to look at the wires going in, i broke off the plastic. Is there any information out there that is accurate? 87 trans am tpi. my relays are all the square ones. I'd like to know the proper locations and wiring setups
