Im puttin in a 2nd pump can I turn it on and...............

off with a switch, i would just want to use it for the nitrous. My buddy said that if i have it turned off while driving it might hurt it, is this true????

I don't see how the fuel would get through the inline pump unless it free-flows or something.

Mine is hooked into the in-tank relay which is at the back of the driver's side back seat, and runs all the time with the in-tank pump.

You want consistent fuel pressure and volume with nos, and I don't see why you just don't hook the pump up to run all the time.

unless your gona run a second fuel pickup your gona have to run the pump all the time or your just gona block the fuel line unless you can figure out a way to make the pump freewheel when its not on.

I am assuming you are speaking of an inline pump like mime. I really don't see any reason why you couldn't shut is off because most of the pumps are free flow pumps. But I also don't really see a reason to turn it off other than to save 8 amps on the charging system. I would just run it all the time provided it is an inline pump. It will take strain off of your in tank pump.
