Made a cold air intake but I have a ?

Now that I have a cold air intake I have two big holes where my air filters used to be. The airbox was gutted so you can see all the way to the ground. Is this a bad thing? There is an article in GMHTP that has two IROC's in it a red one and a yellow one that both have a cover where there air filters used to be, where can I get this piece? Please help me out.

I think I might have found it in the Classic Industries catalog. They call it a Filler Cover that fits above the radiator support and acts as a filler between the hood and the radiator support assembly. It is part #G7160 on page 437. Is this what I'm looking for.

or you could go to your local dealership; mine was a cover used on a carb 85 i think. wasn't very expensive and made a huge difference in appearance.
