I GOT AN 87 IROC 305 TPI. IT HAS A MSD IGNITION, SLP RUNNERS,58MM HOLLEY THROTTLE BODY,DUAL SNORKLE AIR CLEANER W/K&N FILTERS. I JUST GOT THE CAR AND IT HAD ALL THIS ON IT ALREADY. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I LEAVE THE TIMING,FUEL PRESSURE,TPS SENSOR AND MAF SENSOR ALL AT FACTORY SPEC OR CAN I MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS FOR BETTER RESPONSE. I DON'T KNOW THE GUY WHO OWNED IT PERSONALLY BUT FROM WHAT I HEAR HE IS THE TYPE TO BUY A PART JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT WAS GOOD, BOLT IT IN AND IF IT RUNS WITHOUT STALLING IT MUST BE IN CORRECT I BELIVE IT ALSO HAS A CRANE CAM (SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL) I AM NOT SURE OF THE DURATION OR LIFT I NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIND OUT THAT INFO. IT ALSO HAS A AUTOMATIC OD TCI TRANS(IT THINK IT IS THE STREET FIGHTER MODEL) I'M GOIN TO CALL TCI TO FIND OUT.ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

 

May I suggest tweaking your caps lock? When communicating on forums, and in chat rooms, typing in all capital letters is considered "shouting" and may turn away some potential answers.

As to the questions you have asked, I would suggest data logging, and seeing what info you can get from that. It would be a good place to start, to see if all these pieces that guy put on, are working together correctly. Do you have a laptop? GO check out http://winaldl.joby.se/ and start reading up. There's even instructions on how to build your own interface cable, or you can just buy one off ebay or something.
