TPI ?'s.. help me out guys.

Ok, i have a 91 RS w/ the LO3. I plan on building a 383 as soon as I can, I want it to be TPI but I really don't know anything about it. I've heard people talking about Miniram, Superram, and Long tube runners. What exactly are these? Also which would be the best set up for max HP. Like which one with which cam? I've heard about the LT4 Hot cam, LPE 219, and the another cam as best for TPI, but which would be the best. It'll be my first engine build up and I don't wanna mess things up. Thanks in advance.

it all depends what you are gonna do with the car. the miniram is a HIGH rpm breather, meaning that it is capable of making power 7000-8000rpm. the super ram will make peak power around 5300-5400rpm, but it has more torque than the miniram. (torque is a good thing in stoplight racing) long tube runner is the stock design of tpi, which will make peak power at ~4900rpm, but it will make buttloads more torque than the previous too. you will have a lower horsepower rating with LTR, but the torque will be monsterous with a 383. on cam selection, personally, id run the LPE219 with 1.5 rockers for the super ram, LT4 HOT cam with 1.6 rockers for the miniram. 4 a cam for LTR, i would keep the valve lift at around .480 on both sides.

Thanks, that really clears things up now. I think I will be going with the super ram or the LTR since torque is what I'm really looking for. Also it will be a daily driver and I don't expect to be going into the 7000-8000 RPM range. Thanks for the help.
