I am doing a MAF to SD conversion right now.
As far as I know, all you need is the new ECM, Prom, Map sensor, Knock sensor I think, and wire the MAF harness to the SD computer.

I went form TBI to TPI SD and it really wasn't that hard. I went to SD because I go the tpi set up from a 85 iroc, and I was told that the ecm and wiring harness from that year was junk, so I was getting a new wiring harness any way. I already had a MAP sensor from the TBI and my buddy from TPIS, and the local junk yard got me everything else that I need, which Zepher already told you pretty much all you need.

Just go right to Mike Davis's site that John has already provided. That is ALL you need. I used it along with many others. I used to to make an 85MAF--->SD harness for my dads S10. Its great.

Many thanks to Mike for all of the hard work!
