Starts fine then dies after 5 mins
Starts fine then dies after 5 mins
I have had this problem for a while and whilst trying to fix it by changing
sensors such as Coolant sensor, Iac, Map, ecu, Plugs, ignition control etc i started seeing another problem with it smoking really badly i finaly found a broken wire on the knock sensor.
But the same old problem returned with it stalling after a perfect start up after 5 mins.
After that it wont start if i unplug injectors i can get it running but it runs really bad with lots of smoke...
Once cooled down it will start again and again after 5 mins it stall..
When trying to start the engine after it has stalled it seems to turn over slowly even though the battery is new and charged
Any Ideas please..
Thanks

That happened to me once. It was really cold out and I was just sitting the driveway waiting for my brother to grab his stuff and get in and all of a sudden it just stopped running after about 10 minutes. Could that just be because it was cold? It has only happened that one time.
