can a bad mass air flow sensor cause this?

not starting to well and idleing at about 1500..car had an intake leak b4 but i fixed that

Sounds like your TPS (throttle positioning sensor) Just went threw the same problem with my F-150, would idle at 1400, then with the AC on it was normal.. and would also shift funky.
