what size injectors for a 400?

what size injectors would be good for a fully siamesed(siamesed until 6 inches before air enters cylinder head) and modified TPI 400 small block also would a 52mm t/b flow enough ?? or would i be better off with a 58mm

It depends on the cam. If it will spin high, and flow good, a 58mm would be better. Same for the injectors. They are like jets. You'll need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator too. Don't go too big, and be stuck with them. They have used stock 22# for over 400 hp. Get a set of 24# or 25# and you'll have enough. Make sure they are cleaned and matched too!

A lot depends on your cam specs, and head flow #'s, but I've currently got 24lb *ord inj. and I'm hitting 80 to 90% duty cycle so I'll be going up to 30lb inj. soon. Thats with a mild cam (gotta pass Ca smog!) for a 400 (222 and 228 at .050 with .494 lift an a 114 lsa) and TF heads. And yes, I'm running a 58mm.

go with 30 s as the min size and you might want to go even to 36lb's either way you will need to modify your prom to use them if you are lookin for 400hp i'd say 30's if you want 500 hp i'd start with the 36 ers remember that ford 30's are actually gm 33 so they are a good choice.i'm running them in my supercharged 350 and they work great.i also beleave that traxton is running them in his n/a 350 with good results so saying that they are too big to me is bs.
