My car is an 87 305 auto, and slp has their chips on sale for 70 dollars and they have one for either an 87 or 88 305 auto(it says CA only and I live in TX) and they have the same chip for a auto 350, and one for a 305 manual, will any of these work on my car? Thanks

 

I am not positive on this but i am pretty sure if you have an automatic, the chips that are for manuals WON'T work in your car. As for the chip that says for california use it probably has something to do with emmisions since they are much more stricter on emmisions laws there. As far as a 305 automatic chip a 350 automatic chip it should work. I put a chip in from my 305 in my 350 and it works fine, but mine is a a manual transmission.
