For those of you not familiar with my saga, it is a 1991 Formula with a 406 solid roller cammed miniram motor.

Best before today was:

60' 1.70
E.T. 12.49
MPH 109.91

After today's cool weather at Island Dragway:

60' 1.63
E.T. 12.28
MPH 110.48

And the progress continues.....

I am also running a solid roller cam motor with a MiniRam. Mine is a 383 though. A friend of mine and I have found quite a bit of power with the MiniRam by increasing ignition timing. My best pass was running 38 degs total. I know that every motor is different but my motor also has 11.5-1 compression. Are you using a GM computer, DFI?

My miniram motor is only 10:1 and I am running 34 degrees total timing right now. I am still learning about the DFI I have and the motor is still breaking in. I did not know that the miniram liked more timing. But I guess that each motor is different also. What times are you running with that andhow big of a cam do you have?

I ran the car two weeks ago. This was the first time at the track this year. I'm using a Comp XE Solid Roller 236/242, .603/.610 112lsa ground 4 deg adv.

I only made three passes. These are my times:
1.70 1.71 1.70
11.71 11.69 11.61
116.0 117.1 117.5
On the third pass i put a little fuel in downstairs and increased ignition timing 1 deg to 38 deg total. Last year I made some passes with my old Hyd Roller cam. My total timing was 34 degs. Best pass was 12.2. Increasing total timing and playing with fuel a little bit got the car down to 11.80!

HiTech5, You can get 1.70 60' times with regular street tires? That's nuts. Nice car and times, it looks like you put the time and money big time to deserve it/
