I was just wondering i am planning to put a tuned port unit off of a 89 IROC this week on my 92' RS and am just trying to get a plan ahead of time. Right now i have a 350 with the stock manifold and throttle body that i removed from the 305. I put my headers on about 5 years ago,they are heddman hedders, ARE THESE HEADERS GOING TO WORK WITH THE TPI SET UP ???? ANYONE HAVE A CLUE ON THIS? Or am i just thinking of ways to talk myself out doing this pain staking job? I am starting to have second thoughts on this i'm affraid.

You're talking intake and exhaust here, apples and oranges. The headers have nothing to do with the intake.

 

Well that's what i though but i heard someone on the exhaust board saying headman never made headers for a TPI so that's what had me wondering.

 

headers will fit a small block chevy regardless of the intake on the engine. headers that fit a 305 will fit a 350, tbi, tpi, carb, doesnt matter. as long as its for a SBC v8 in a 82-92 f-body.
