Where is HVAC Vacuum Line attached on TPI?

Hey Guys,

I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me....where is the line that controls HVAC Vacuum on 1990 - 1992 TPI attached to?

I have three ports on my intake plenum: One goes to the map sensor, one goes to the fuel pressure regulator and the other on the far side goes to the brake booster.

This is a TPI retrofit on a 1982 Corvette so I actually need to find a place for the HVAC Line and the line that controls Vacuum to my headlights.

I know it's not a good idea to splice into the Map sensor line....what about the brake booster or fuel pressor regulator lines?

I thought about drilling and tapping into the plenum for two more fittings and do it that way.......any suggestions?

Thanks!

On a 90-92 plenum, there will be three ports on the passenger side in the back, and one port on the drivers side back. If you have two ports on the passenger side, then you have a MAF plenum. You'll need to T into the fuel pressure vacuum line to hook up the HVAC controls.

aaah that's why, I do have the 85-86 plenum, runners, and intake so it would bolt to my 82 engine with no mods.

The rest is speed density (harness, sensors, ecm ect)

Thanks for the quick reply

I drilled and tapped a third line in my plenum ('89 still MAF) due to vacuum problems with splitting the sources.
