what cam came in the 1986 Iroc 305 TPI??

If you could provide me with the cam specs, that would be great. Also anybody know what the engine HP output and Torque #' are.

Thanks

By the way I looked in the tech articles and it only listed specs for 87-up

Thanks for the info. Those cam spec's are really lousy. Is this the so called "peanut cam" I hear people talk about? Is this cam a flat tappet or a roller? My 92 RS, I know has a really small cam as well, did GM make this cam in a flat tappet and then use the same profile in there roller cam's? The car has perimeter bolt valve covers if that matters.

the TPI engines
i may be wrong, but the 90-92 was a roller
cam, but they came with center bolt covers
after 89??
and didnt GM use the same cam in the 90-92
350TPI engines? mainly the compression comming
from the aluminium heads and smaller combustion
chambers.
the ZZ4 crate engine has been dubbed the L98
engine replacement.
just what ive picked up...

Aaaaalll wrong.

87-up engines came with hydraulic roller engines. They come with centerbolt HEADS after 87. And hello no GM didnt use that cam in 350 TPIs !! And 350TPIs never came with aluminum heads ! (unless u had a vette)

Yep, thats the non-roller peanut cam, the same one used in LG4's. TBI's get the roller version of the same peanut cam.
